The Language of the Trees Spoken through Crystalline sheaths Solar whispers sung around bark and brilliant dew Holy Hushed Hibernating Awaiting Awareness and Awakening After the long Season of Silence Are reverent Reversals revealed So... listen... Listen... They seem Now Not to Speak But in this Quiet The deepest Secrets may be gleaned Listen through your Eyes Hear the Particulate Poetics See through your Flesh The Primordial Patternings Taste with your entire Being That effervescent Dialect Ancient and ever-Renewed... A Story of Survival A Code of new Conduct A Harmonic ~ showing us the way to be truly Human This... the Language of the Trees.. Listen... oh Listen... Can you hear? The faintest whisper of the intention of the bud willing itself to open? ~ Adam Aaron Lodestone 04/02/2018

Quick swift nab of a thermal
fleeting dip flourish of a dive Against the slate sky recent wail of a storm, passed streams sunbeams reaching from the horizon at the last hour of day You capture my gaze my attention for hours, sometimes My thoughts upon the physics of you the motivations of you the essence of you the lessons of you Quiet in the air Squalling on the shore Alone among the waves One of many upon the beach Sharp turn Twisting into the wind Soaring off towards the northern islands I feel you as my familiar On lonely days at the shore. |
